| 1970 | Patrick Hylant (grandson of Edward) joins the firm and forms employee benefits department. |
| 1982 | Dana Corporation purchases Hylant-MacLean, Inc. |
| 1985 | Patrick Hylant leads the repurchase of company. |
| 1987 | Hylant-MacLean of Michigan, Inc. is formed under the direction of Steve Hylant. |
| 1989 | Michael Hylant opens the Cleveland office. |
| 1993 | Columbus, Ohio, office opens. |
| 1997 | Cincinnati, Ohio, office opens. |
| 2000 | Ann Arbor, Michigan, office opens. Company changes name to Hylant. |
