Patrick Hylant

Industry Experience
With over 40 years of industry experience, Patrick is Chairman of the Board of Hylant Group. He oversees all operational aspects of the company and maintains the ultimate responsibility for the company’s growth and future expansion.

Pat has worked on or been responsible for virtually every aspect of the firm since joining in 1970.  His positions have included Manager of the Employee Benefits Department, Marketing Manager, Account Executive, Treasurer, Vice President, President, and Chief Executive Officer.  He has been Chairman since 1982.

In 2005 Pat was selected Entrepreneur of the Year in financial services for North West Ohio and South East Michigan. He is a founder and one the board of directors of Waterford Bank and of Maumee Valley Re.

He is a member of the Society of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU).

Education
Patrick received his bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management from The Ohio State University.
