Industry Experience
With more than 17 years in the insurance industry and 23 years in the accounting field, Bill oversees the financial operations of Hylant Group. His responsibilities include financial forecasting, program analysis, long-term strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and partnership development for the firm and its related companies. Bill is also a member of Hylant’s Board of Directors.
Having been with Hylant since 1994, Bill has experience as Controller of Hylant Administrative Services – a division of Hylant Group – where he was responsible for the financial administration of company programs, as well as general corporate accounting.   His background also includes several years in public accounting, specializing in the service and insurance-related industries.

Industry Associations and Activities
Bill serves as board member for the Regional Growth Partnership of Northwest Ohio and Junior Achievement of Northwest Ohio. Bill is also President of the Toledo chapter of Financial Executives International and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Education and Accreditation
Bill received his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich. with an accounting and mathematics focus and his master’s degree in executive management from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio.  He also completed the Executive Development Leadership Program at the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.  Bill is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
