Risk control consultants should be chosen by their track record, not their sales pitch

Dan Dimas
Risk Control Practice Leader

As a former director of safety and workers' compensation for BFGoodrich, Libbey Owens Ford and Owens Corning, I know risk and cost control.  In fact, I recently helped a large organization lower its recordable incident rate by 30 percent and its lost-time cases by 67 percent.

By utilizing best-in-class practices, an effective risk control program can decrease workplace injuries , lower workers ' compensation costs, improve labor/government/community relations,  and boost your bottom line.

There is no better way to lower the cost of risk than to minimize it.  And I work with the senior management of many companies to ensure that their unique risk-control programs are in line with their strategic business goals.

In this field, you have to know what the client wants, and be flexible enough to give them want they really need.  And that’s what has contributed most to my long and successful track record.
