Hylant Group Announces the Promotion of Jon J. Strole to Vice President
And Controller

TOLEDO, Ohio - February 12, 2003 - Hylant Group, Inc., of Toledo has announced the promotion of Jon J. Strole to Vice President and Controller. His responsibilities will include all accounting and financial reporting activities for Hylant Group; directing the annual audit, financial forecasting and planning activities. He is also a member of Hylant’s Strategic Planning Group and Corporate Operations Team.

Jon is an alumnus of the University of Toledo and has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1983. He resides in Maumee, OH and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of CPA’s. Prior to joining the Hylant Group, Jon was Vice President Finance and CFO for a regional automotive franchise company based in Toledo, and an audit manager with Ernst & Young.
