Hylant Group Announces the Addition of Marlaine Gauthier, Head of the Medical Professional Liability Department

ANN ARBOR, Michigan - January 30, 2006 - Hylant Group announces the addition of Marlaine M. Gauthier as Head of the Medical Professional Liability Department located in our Ann Arbor office. Marlaine has over 15 years of experience in healthcare. For the last 5 years she owned her own consulting firm (Draco Inc.) which focused on long term strategic planning. Prior to Draco she was a Senior Manager for KPMG Peat Marwick specializing in health care related mergers and acquisitions and risk management (New York, Chicago, and Detroit). As part of her decade long consulting career she also managed an international consulting team focusing on health care and pharmaceutical clients in London, Paris, and Berlin. In addition, she has extensive experience in both long term care and physician practice management. Marlaine also worked for several prominent hospitals and medical centers in Ohio. She went to undergraduate school at Ohio University and majored in Industrial Engineering. She received her Masters (MPH) from the University of Toledo where she majored in health administration. She is presently working on her PhD (focusing on the role of information technology and the preservation of intellectual capital in health care).
