Catherine Bennett Joins Hylant Group

NASHVILLE, Tennessee - April 2, 2007 - Catherine Bennett has joined Hylant Group as Vice President in the newly established Nashville office.  In this role, she will be responsible for new business development and ongoing client service.  She will be an integral part of Hylant Group’s Large Accounts Practice.

According to Hylant Group’s Chairman and CEO, Patrick Hylant, "We are excited about Catherine joining Hylant in Tennessee and believe she will be key in launching our Nashville venture.  In addition, the expansion of our Large Accounts Practice is another important objective within our organization and Catherine brings a new dimension to that group and the advancement of this strategic initiative."

Jim Sybert, President of Hylant's Nashville office, echoes these sentiments and adds, "Early on we identified Catherine as someone that we wanted on our team. She brings a unique business background, a sense of style, and a long-standing reputation within the risk management and insurance industry. Prior to joining Hylant, Catherine was President of Cost Control Concepts, Inc., a leading marketing communications and consulting company serving the risk management and insurance industry.   In other positions, Catherine served as Vice President at Johnson & Higgins where she provided consulting, sales, and service assistance to large accounts and was a consultant with Willis’ Advanced Risk Management Services Division.

Catherine is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences and will be speaking at the RIMS Conference in New Orleans in May and the PRIMA Conference in Boston in June of this year.  She has also published numerous articles and is co-author of the book The Art of Self-Insurance.  She holds both the Certified Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designations and is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the Owen Graduate School of Management.
