Hylant Group Announces New Practice Leader
Stephen Hylant to head Real Estate/Property Management Group

TOLEDO, Ohio - December 6, 2007 - Hylant Group, the nation’s sixth largest  privately held commercial insurance brokerage, has named Steve Hylant as the National Real Estate and Property Management Practice Leader.  In this role, Steve will be responsible for the overall development and management of this specialized practice to meet the demanding needs of the real estate and property management sector.  He will also continue to serve on the Board of Directors for Hylant Group.

Steve founded Hylant’s Troy, Mich. office in 1987 and has successfully grown the office to more than 45 employees, creating and maintaining a strong presence in Southeast Michigan.  After leading the office for more than 20 years and contributing significantly to the overall growth of the Hylant Group, Steve has accepted the challenge of developing this new practice from inception, while leading other growth endeavors for Hylant.  With his wealth of experience in the real estate and property arena and strong understanding of market intricacies, he will lead the practice from the Troy office.
