Hylant Group Names David Skiljan to Casualty Practice

CLEVELAND, Ohio - June 24, 2008 - Hylant Group, one of the nation’s largest privately held commercial insurance brokerage firms, names David Skiljan as Vice President and member of the Casualty Risk Practice. With over 20 years of industry experience, Skiljan will focus on large account clients in need of expertise in the areas of general, product and auto liability, environmental liability, workers’ compensation and umbrella/excess liability coverage in the U.S., Europe and Bermuda markets, lawyers professional liability, owner controlled programs, and contractual risk transfer. 

Before joining Hylant Group, Skiljan was a Senior Vice President at Wachovia Insurance Services in Cleveland, Ohio where he was a member of the National Casualty Practice and provided support and advice on large casualty accounts throughout the U.S.  He was also a Senior Vice President at Marsh and was a casualty broker on large accounts and served as the Casualty Practice Leader.
