Hylant Group Names New Executive Vice President
Lisa Hawker has been appointed to Executive Vice President, Employee Benefits Practice Leader

TOLEDO, Ohio - September 25, 2008 - Lisa Hawker has been named Executive Vice President and Employee Benefits Practice Leader at Hylant Group.  With more than 12 years of experience in employee benefits and a strong record of achievement, Hawker will be responsible for the overall growth, retention, profitability and best practices of the firm’s $18 million Employee Benefits operation spanning Hylant’s 12 offices.    

Hawker began her career at Hylant as a Client Executive and Vice President in the Employee Benefits Department nearly four years ago.  Prior to joining Hylant, she was a Vice President, Consultant, and Sales Professional in Marsh’s Toledo, Ohio office and was subsequently promoted to Employee Benefits Practice Leader for the Marsh office in Cleveland, Ohio.   Lisa began her insurance career as a Project Development Coordinator and Employee Benefits Specialist for Picton Cavanaugh, Inc./Sky Insurance in Toledo.

Among her many achievements, she was named in Business Insurance Magazine as one of 50 Women to Watch in 2007 and received the 2007 Toledo Community Leadership 20 Under 40 Award.  She serves as the Chairperson for the March of Dimes of Northwest Ohio, and sits on the Boards of the Fort Meigs YMCA and the Toledo Area Human Resources Association.  In addition, Lisa is active in the Leadership Toledo Alumni Association, and EPIC Toledo.  Hawker graduated Magna cum Laude from Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana.
