TOLEDO, Ohio, February 11, 2014 - Toledo-based Hylant, one of the nation's largest privately owned insurance brokerage firms, announced today that Tanja Lumpp has joined the firm as Global Benefits Specialist. Lisa Hawker, Hylant's president of employee benefits, made the announcement.
Lumpp joins Hylant from Grand Rapids-based Van Andel Research Institute where she was responsible for leading and managing many of the organization's federal, state, local and private funding agency projects. In that role, she helped the not-for-profit build and maintain relationships while driving continuous improvement and advancement through research, training and technology.
In her new role, Lumpp will be responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting Hylant's global client and consulting relationships. “Lumpp is a proven leader and tested solutions provider,” said Hawker. “She has a great perspective on client service and brings a heightened level of consulting and client management depth to our team.”
Lumpp, who is located in Hylant's Toledo, Ohio office, earned her MBA in Strategic Management from Davenport University, is a summa cum laude graduate of Aquinas College.
