The Detroit office was founded in February 1987 as a greenfield start by Steve Hylant who moved up from Toledo along with Tim Laney and CSR, Debra Fischer. We have grown from those three employees to over forty employees strong. We made a benefits acquisition in 2005 and have sustained consistent organic growth as well. Our office has developed a specialization in property management accounts and has a benefits operation led by Bob Carroll that continues to sustain growth.

Our steady expansion required us to move to our current location in February 2004. In the fall of 2005, we kicked off a Long Term Health Care initiative by designing a proprietary risk management tool as our value proposition.
