AMY SHOCK,
Program Manager
Amy Shock
Program Manager, Client Service Executive
Meet Amy. Before coming to Hylant, she was with one of our competitors. After witnessing firsthand the relationships Hylant has with our clients and the community, she took notice and became a member of the Hylant family in 2011. Not only has her career grown at Hylant, so too has her family and her appreciation for the family culture here. Proud wife and new mother, Amy appreciates the flexible hours and her close relationships with coworkers. Amy is also actively involved in helping the community in any and every way she can.
Amy joins Hylant as a program manager in the franchise division.
Amy brings in two new insurance programs, landing her the title of program manager/client service executive.
Not only does Amy mentor a new team member, she brings in over $1 million in commercial insurance sales.
Amy raises awareness and funds for the Junior Achievement Bowl-a-Thon. Amy also uses her negotiating skills to bring in yet another insurance program–and a massage chair for the office. Way to go, Amy!
Joe Schrinel
Help Desk Analyst
Joe had heard great things about Hylant upon graduating college. Among them was the fact that Hylant has a true family atmosphere, a rich history and wonderful people. And much to his delight, Joe became part of the Hylant family when he was hired as a member of the client service team in August 2008. In addition to the family culture, Joe enjoys the Metroparks, the Zoo and the special events downtown Toledo has to offer. Joe strives to do whatever it takes to help others, and Hylant gives him the opportunity to do just that. It’s one of the reasons he looks forward to coming to work each day.
Fresh out of college, Joe begins his career with Hylant as service assistant on the client service team.
Joe is promoted to senior service assistant on the client service team.
Joe’s career path takes him to help desk specialist.
This year Joe makes two career moves: the first to business application specialist, and then to his current position as help desk analyst.

And as a result, she has already obtained two designations on top of being licensed. She appreciates the support she’s been given by her managers and colleagues and would one day like to step into a client service executive role and continue to gain knowledge about the international side of insurance.

Nick also gives back to the community by actively participating in the Junior Achievement and United Way campaigns at Hylant.
