Hylant Internship Program

The Hylant Internship Program will provide students the opportunity to gain valuable experience within the insurance industry, create lasting relationships with Hylant’s professionals, and learn to execute our customer-focused values.

OPPORTUNITIES

Hylant has a variety of opportunities that will provide students with realistic work experience. Selected students will be able to work with professionals in their respective fields.

Hylant’s intern program is seeking students pursuing degrees or concentration in the following areas:

  • Accounting
  • Administrative Services
  • Employee Benefits
  • Finance
  • Human Resources 
  • Information Technology 
  • Marketing
  • Risk Management

ELIGIBILITY

Internship applicants must be college level, preferably junior or senior standing, with a concentration in sales/marketing, insurance, risk management or business.

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

THE HYLANT EXPERIENCE

Hylant’s Internship Program allows each intern the opportunity to experience exposure in different departments within the insurance industry. It is an individualized program designed to fit each intern’s interests and skills. Assigned projects are flexible to the company’s needs, whether it is one core project or two to three smaller-scaled projects. Projects must be completed by the end of the program when each intern will choose which to present to the executive leadership team.

The program also includes:
  • Opportunity to shadow various departments
  • Regular feedback sessions
  • Day-to-day department tasks
  • Formal recognition of program completion

Hylant’s Internship Program assigns each intern a direct supervisor who also serves as a mentor.
